Verdict

Florence and Fararanga are recent maiden winners but have both been beaten in handicaps subsequently. COYOTE GIRL won her maiden on the all-weather at Greyville in October but was beaten less than a length at Turffontein on last month’s handicap debut and gets another chance in this with Gavin Lerena’s presence another positive. Fly North is usually thereabouts without winning and Arikel could go well from the top of the weights.
