Verdict

PONCHIELLI won over 7f here on her latest start and scored over course and distance in November. She was partnered by Piere Strydom for her latest success and the leading jockey is back on board for his only ride of the meeting. Ficticious is another recent winner though has won just the once here in 16 attempts and the unexposed Shezashiningstar is preferred having posted a better effort at Turffontein last month. Swell Time is not out of this but Ottawa hasn’t had much luck with the draw.
