Six winners in opposition but LOYAL MASTER is the only one to have obliged at this trip, doing so in striking fashion over the stiff track at Beverley. Stamina is clearly his forte and he represents value against more fashionably trained opponents. Netley Marsh represents the Hannon team and improved significantly from his debut run when coming through nicely to score at Salisbury. He should come on for that and seems sure to give a good account, likewise Grand Gold, who did well to run down subsequent winner Misbah at Newcastle. It's a competitive contest with none of the other previous winners ruled out with confidence, although the consistent Red Hearts has raced almost exclusively at the minimum trip.
