Verdict

OPENING BID caught Gerard Mentor on a going day here last month but was hampered in the closing stages. He’s gone up 2lb but has only one below him in the handicap. Storm Hill is that one having a first run since landing a Plumpton maiden in February. John Betjeman has only ever won at Ffos Las and Laura Bullion is on a long losing run but the returning Big Boy Bobby is worth a second look and Jaramillo and Moorland Rambler probably have untapped potential.
