      Verdict

      Hawthorn Cottage won off a 7lb higher mark at Kempton less than a year ago and wears cheekpieces for the first time here. FAIRWAY FREDDY won at Stratford last month with a run at Plumpton two days later probably coming too soon. He gets another chance though South Terrace is well treated on the pick of his hurdles form and Thelasthighking has plenty of scope. Horizon D'Ainay is even less exposed and has had wind surgery since last seen but Dindin may be due a rest.
