In depth

Verdict

Oliver's Gold was very highly tried in his first season and can be forgiven his run in blinkers when dropped into this grade for the first time at Kempton in December. John Dunlop got a win out of Salvationist at Yarmouth last year and he is one for the short-list in this but so is stable companion ANTON DOLIN, who was fourth on his reappearance over this trip at Nottingham and doesn't look badly treated here despite top weight. Delagoa Bay was the subject of a gamble when third at Wolverhampton in March and Polly Holder has transferred her all-weather improvement to turf so they may be the pick of the remainder.
