In depth

Verdict

HERONS HEIR would have probably preferred a bit more rain but looks to have a decent chance of making an immediate impact over fences as he is only a couple of pounds higher than when second over timber at Sedgefield last month. Lucky Jim can race off the same mark as when only beaten half-a-length at Market Rasen in March so rates a danger and Grams And Ounces has already won over hurdles and on that Flat. Oficial Ben was still in front when falling at the second-last at Ludlow last time and is another to consider along with Jarlath.
