      Verdict

      JAVA ROSE's second to Ulzana's Raid over course and distance in March was a commendable effort. She was second on the Polytrack last month in a staying race and is likely to be a warm order for this with her mare's allowance. Dashing Over only found one too good on his hurdling debut at Market Rasen but Mogestic, who started favourite for a Southwell bumper on his racecourse debut, may have a better long-term future. Flat winner Significant Move only got as far as the second at Chepstow on Tuesday and is best watched if making a quick reappearance.
