Verdict

Whoops A Daisy is clearly very much respected coming from a top yard just getting into form. However, he carries a penalty for his Bangor success last season and we will take him on today with LIVING PROOF. Jonathan Geake now has care of this mare who showed up well for a long way on her Hereford debut in August behind a decent yardstick. With improvement to come and a change of scenery she might just be up to the task. Wassailing Queen is related to plenty of National Hunt winners, including in this sphere, so she has to be short-list material along with Dream Function (from a top yard) and Blazing Empress, who showed promise on debut and returns after a season off.
