In depth

Verdict

A winner at Chepstow and Exeter, SANDYNOW bids for a hat-trick off an 11lb higher mark. But he won a higher grade handicap than this last time and should make another bold bid. The Cider Maker has found one only one too good on his last couple of starts but has has been raised 8lb after a second at Newton Abbot and Crack Of Thunder makes more appeal. The latter caught the eye staying on well for third at Newbury recently on his first start since December. A winner over fences, West End can race off a lower mark reverting to the smaller obstacles and Presence Felt was placed in a chase at Wincanton back in October off a higher mark than today.
