Verdict

Three Scoops is proving to be expensive to follow but should be better suited by the underfoot conditions than most of her rivals being by Captain Rio so cannot be discounted, although a better bet looks to be Bryn Palling's CALLIE'S ANGEL. The son of Piccolo has run his best race on soft ground and he looks worth chancing in what does not appear a strong maiden. James Unett's Crucis Abbey has the highest rating of those to have earned one but is not certain to go on the ground, while Rae Guest is doubly represented by newcomers with Fonnie marginally preferred to Fully Armed. Mick Channon also introduces a newcomer in Dancing All Night, who could be of interest but the experience of Callie's Angel may prove to be decisive.
