Verdict

There are some big fields here today and this is not an easy start for punters. While You Wait has been placed twice in this grade recently. Powderonthebonnet won at Bangor back in July but has been well beaten on the Flat since. David John arrives off the back of a victory at Sedgefield and may be improving, however, and it's difficult to see Perth third Sword of The Lord finishing out of the frame. Dormouse could also run well at much bigger odds and there is probably more to come from Crickel Wood. But Tony Carroll may have found the key to STAND TO REASON judged on his very easy win in a Class 3 contest at Stratford in the summer and he'll take all the beating if reproducing that effort on this easier surface.
