Verdict

NET WORK ROUGE could hardly have been more impressive when landing a maiden at Worcester on his return to hurdling. This is more difficult but Kim Bailey's charge may well be good enough to defy his penalty with Dan Emmett, a fair stayer on the Flat, proving hard to place over timber. Captain McGinley can't be ignored as he's been knocking on the door while Gorsky Island has won twice over fences, though is probably having a pipe-opener here. Shouldavboughtgold has hinted at ability but is returning in this from a year on the sidelines. Winning pointers A Plein Temps and Ballycross look best of the rest.
