Verdict
The well regarded Leonica, who has an entry in the Coronation Stakes, should be able to lose her maiden certificate before going on to better things. Michael Bell's filly kept good company last season when reaching the frame in maidens won by such classy fillies as Ya Hajar and Distant Valley and meets nothing of that calibre here. Hold Me Close, a daughter of Most Welcome out of a Warning mare, is an interesting newcomer while both Cayman Sound and Skies Are Blue are capable of further improvement.
