Verdict
Jennifer's Joy gets the vote over Ramatni and Quick Sands, with Alexander Monarchy also worth a mention. Mick Channon is sure to have another hatful of juvenile winners this year, and judged on the debut effort of Jennifer's Joy at Haydock nine days ago, she should certainly be among them. The daughter of Green Desert finished well once getting the hang of things, and although bred to excel over further in time, will take some stopping here. Her main rival appears to be Ramatni who was caught out by Piece Of My Heart's late burst on her bow over the course-and-distance three weeks ago. She runs here in preference to the Lily Agnes at Chester on Wednesday and is sure to be well fancied. Quick Sands holds entries in no less than four big sales races, but will have to show a bit more than she did at Newmarket to prevail, while Kevin Ryan generally has one or two nice youngsters, so Alexander Monarchy should be kept on the right side in future. However, with Aussie pilot James Bowman to help, it is Jennifer's Joy that is the pick of some nice fillies.
