Verdict

Falcon's Fire may be up to defying topweight, with Private Peachey, Gee Ceffyl Bach and Golden Prospect others worth a mention. Only two of these line up with recent winning form to their name, including Falcon's Fire who opened his account at Catterick just four days ago. Ann Duffield turns him out again quickly under a 6lb penalty, and with more improvement to come from this lightly-raced individual, he can follow up over this slightly longer trip. Private Peachy also has his second outing in the space of four days, having lowered the colours of the odds-on Polish World at Folkestone. Unlike the selection though, he is not guaranteed to relish today's journey, having disappointed over it in the past. He does at least line up in form though and in receipt of weight from Falcon's Fire, so has to be considered. Gee Ceffyl Bach has yet to show any worthwhile form this year, while Golden Prospect may need the run. All things considered, Falcon's Fire has more chance than most.
