In depth

Verdict

SIMPLY THE BETTS is impossible to oppose having performed well behind some smart novices prior to a run in the Supreme Novices’ at Cheltenham. Unsurprisingly, he never got competitive at The Festival but this looks a straightforward task for a gelding who still has time on his side. Amoola Gold has shown ability in bumpers and should do well over hurdles in time. On Raglan Road has been placed in a couple of points but didn’t fare as well in bumpers earlier and the others are even harder to fancy.
