Verdict

Breaking Ground was always going well when getting back to winning ways in comfortable fashion at Exeter. But he has been raised 8lb for that and the blinkers would probably need to work a second time for him to get the better of BOSS MANS LADDER, who showed a lot of improvement on his return from a break when landing a better contest at Stratford last month. Mike Sowerby’s stayers often pop up when least expected so Silver Dragon is worth a market check. Scrumpy Boy and Argent Knight may be best of the rest.
