Verdict
It was fast ground when DORMOUSE won this last year but he also has a C&D victory to his credit on heavy going and is 3lb lower this time around. Anabel Murphy's seven-year-old is fancied to go in again. Castletown Bridge had Bathwick Brave behind when third to Saturday's Ascot winner Ivor's King over an extra half-mile at Wincanton and can figure while Wom was unlucky not to win a Fakenham seller last month, though seems to reserve his best for that track. Spoil Me, Lilac Belle and Lindsay's Dream may need this while Kings Troop just hasn't taken to hurdles with any enthusiasm. Aegean Destiny, fit from the Flat, could be best of the rest therefore.
