Alan King could land the last when he saddles VALLEYOFTHEDOLLS, who seems to have the strongest claims ahead of Great Tusker and Magellan Straits in an open bumper. The pick was a winner on her only run thus far, back in May, when she ran a bit green but had enough to score with a bit in hand. The form from that bumper has been stood up so with further improvement expected she seems in good order here. Great Tusker has also had just the one outing when he travelled well before being run out of it at the death into fourth place. He's a half brother to winning pointers in Ireland and will improve from the run. There are wins in this one's future and with his only run coming this season he maybe sharper than the selection. Magellan Straits like the selection is one win from one start, which also came over the summer. He comes from a family full of useful chasers and should have a decent future if that first outing is anything to go by, but might find it hard here on these terms. Any significant money for any of the entrants should be noted but the pick remains with Valleyofthedolls.
