In depth

Verdict

Flowery is having a first run over hurdles since January of last year and looks high enough in the weights, though has travelled down from the Borders. Sammylou was improving in the autumn but having a first run since November. Stormy Flight arrives off the back of a win at Uttoxeter while Garry Clermont hung under pressure back over hurdles at Newbury. Xcitations has placed over 2m4f at Fakenham but is probably better over 2m but Rockadenn is better than he showed at Uttoxeter. FANTASTIC LADY doesn’t look an easy ride but she would almost certainly have won here in February had she not fallen at the last and she landed the odds at Doncaster next time. She makes her handicap debut on a decent mark so gets the nod.
