Verdict
Group Captain, Justaquestion and Treat Me Wild are the three to concentrate on here and the vote is given to Group Captain. The selection ran really well when second behind Jalamid at Sandown last time and with further improvement anticipated from this lightly-raced colt he looks the one to beat. Justaquestion ran well in a Listed event at Ascot last time and that form has since been franked by the winner Jewell In The Sand at Newmarket on Tuesday. That was a good contest and as this filly had previously shown a good level of form she has to be respected. Treat Me Wild won well on her debut at Bath and although she can't be dismissed she looks to have more on her plate here. Of the remainder, Scale The Heights will need to improve from his debut run at Newbury to make the frame here, but he is from a leading yard and any market support could make him interesting. However, Group Captain sets a decent standard here and is the one they all have to beat.
