Verdict

SUHAYL STAR, Style Award and Many Welcomes make the shortlist, with Suhayl Star taken to make the most of a good draw. Style Award landed an apprentice contest last time out over this trip, and so ended a losing run of over a year. Although unpenalised for that game win, it may not have been the strongest of contests and she is opposed. Many Welcomes won on the Turf at Hamilton in August and has since run well twice on the all-weather, including another win. Freshened up with a break, he looks relatively unexposed and can go well, though his draw is a drawback. You have to go back almost three years for Suhayl Star¿s last Turf success, but he has won three of his last five starts, the successes all coming on Lingfield¿s Polytrack. Suhayl Star has been treated leniently and can make the most of an inside draw.
