Verdict

Impulsive Star won this last year but has pulled up in all three subsequent starts. Le Breuil stays extreme distances, as he showed when landing the National Hunt Chase at Cheltenham, and his rider's claim puts him on a fair mark. Bobo Mac went up 10lb for scoring at Ludlow but ran well on a return visit in a better race, though another 5lb rise makes this tougher. Robbie Power's presence on Darlac for the in-form Colin Tizzard catches the eye while Petite Power only just failed to complete a hat-trick over slightly further than this at Exeter. THE CONDITIONAL followed his victory at Cheltenham with a cracking effort in the Ladbrokes Trophy at Newbury where he was only beaten just over a length after a mistake at the last. He'll take some beating in the kind of form though Kimberlite County ran a superb race when runner-up in the Becher Chase at Aintree, with the remainder well beaten, and looks a very potent threat.
