Verdict
MON PARRAIN landed the odds with the minimum of fuss in one of these events at Fontwell a fortnight ago. He looks the one to beat once again. Simply Wings ran well for second in a hunter chase at Hereford in between placed efforts in handicaps while a loose horse did Mr Madeit no favours at Fakenham and the latter fell at the last when in the lead. Open Hearted was still beaten a long way when third at Wetherby but ran well for a long way and can finish closer today.
