Verdict

Minella Charmer had every chance when falling at Newbury in March and could go close with a clear round. Brahms De Clermont won very easily at Exeter but probably didn’t beat much. RESOLUTION BAY looked a shade unlucky at Taunton in March and made no mistake next time at Chepstow, despite still showing signs of inexperience – he doesn’t look badly treated on his handicap debut. Red Indian has had a few months off but will be a threat to all if returning in the same form as when winning at Ffos Las in December and Robin Of Locksley won here in March. Neither Craggaknock nor Golden Birthday can be ignored on their best form.
