        Verdict

        A wide open handicap rounds off the card and many would have chances on their best form but the main protagonists look to be Pepper Road, Listen To Reason and Doringo and the tentative vote is given to Listen To Reason. The selection was a good second behind Lucid Dreams last time out. That form has since been franked and off the same mark and from a good draw here he looks the value bet in an open affair. Pepper Road rates the main danger on his latest third behind Mamore Gap. He will appreciate this faster surface and will not be far away. Daringo is another that could go well on his latest fourth behind Beauty Of Dreams as he did not come down the hill at all well on that occasion at Brighton and should be suited by this more galloping track. Sea Frolic won well last time out when beating Tojeneski but that was in a banded race and this is much more competitive so he will need to improve again off this higher mark. Elsinora has dropped to a handy mark and could go well at a price but may need the run after a 231 day absence. Of the remainder Wanna Shout goes particularity well at the track and should be monitored in the market for that reason alone but in a race where stakes should be kept to a minimum for the winner we return to Listen To Reason.
