        Verdict

        A decent staying contest and several with a chance of sorts. Although pulled up here last week, Suntas may have needed that outing and a better run here is expected, especially as he is only 1lb higher than when last successful, while Bally Lira, who stays longer than the mother-in-law, may find this trip around here on the sharp side. Over Zealous is 8lbs higher than when winning at Chepstow and that looks enough to anchor him, while Secret Drinker should go well off his light weight and will be a threat to all. However, a chance is taken with Favoured Option, who deserves a change of luck, having been runner-up on his last four outings. The Handicapper has taken pity on him and has dropped him 2lbs for his defeat at Leicester. He does stay well and handles soft ground, so there is every reason to expect a bold showing.
