In depth
Verdict
Count Trevisio looks the one to be with in this maiden with Munnings and Benbrook the others for the shortlist. The selection is a colt by Danehill and his breeding would suggest he should be good enough to make a winning debut. He is related to a 2-year-old 7f winner and he looks the one they all have to beat. Munnings has shown enough in two runs to suggest he could win a race of this nature but he was a slightly disappointing favourite last time and his yard continue to struggle for winners so we are happy to take him on. Benbrook has been a little disappointing in his two starts to date and he looks the type that could do better in time. Double Oh Seven was well beaten on his debut at Haydock but that was a strong race and this doesn't look anywhere near as competitive. He might be capable of going close today but for the winner we are happy to return to Count Trevisio.
