Verdict
A modest way to start the card and It's Wallace is given the vote of confidence over Big Max, Monsieur Tagel and the frustrating Thunder Canyon, who all have claims but do not stand out as the most reliable of characters. Therefore, It's Wallace can make the most of a fair opportunity at this level. The 11-year-old arrives here on the back of a game performance at Huntingdon at the start of this month - an effort that confirmed that he can perform with credit away from his beloved Plumpton when he puts his mind to it. Big Max appeals as the best of the rest after his narrow victory at Exeter last month. However, he has been failing to get home when tried over this sort of trip of late and is not one to rely heavily upon in a finish. Oulton Broad is another that could go well at a fair price now that he has had a pipe-opener over hurdles and money for him could prove to be well placed. However, his profile is not as convincing as that of It's Wallace, who was sparked back into life by the change of scenery last time, and he could easily make his first visit to Warwick a winning one in this company today.
