Verdict

Safran De Cotte isn't really firing at present but he continues to tumble down the weights and it's probably only a matter of time before he wins another staying race. Qulinton is another potentially well treated and he hinted at a revival last time at Bangor while Union Jack D'Ycy won here just over a year ago and at Towcester in November but has run poorly in his last two. LOUGHALDER (NAP) has 15lb more than winning this 12 months ago but looks as though he's been prepared for a repeat and his stable couldn't be in better form. Charlie Poste's mount can land the spoils again, though Ballypatrick could go well after a rest and makes more appeal than Orange Nassau and Carli King.
