Verdict
Several of these ran in the race here three weeks ago won by Commodore. Goodnight Charlie fared best ahead of dual course winner Muckle Roe, Cadeau Du Bresil and Oneida Tribe. Muckle Roe was well behind Gardiners Hill at Ludlow in November but the latter has been beaten twice since off this mark, though has won over hurdles. Ange Des Malberaux has only been beaten once so far over fences and won the Lincolnshire National at Market Rasen on Boxing Day, though is 7lb higher now. We’ll take a chance on MAYBE PLENTY as Giles Smyly’s 10-year-old has run a couple of nice races back under Rules this season. He’s won twice at the track and is back on a winning mark.
