Verdict

Swiss St Leger winner Cool Investment (when with Mark Johnston) ran well enough on his Plumpton debut to suggest he can play a part here, and the trip should suit him. Kingston-Banker is well up to winning a race of this nature. Sterling Dot Com will need to improve a little on his last two runs. Surprising was by far the best of these of hurdles and, following his chasing debut third, looks to have been found a good opportunity to get off the mark and gets the selection. Tell Me Why showed promise in one hurdling run and is bred to jump fences. A dual hurdles winner, Wild Spice disappointed on his chasing debut at Huntingdon.
