In depth

Verdict

Blistering is preferred to Andrew Nick and Glenda Hoddle. The form of the race in which the selection finished fourth over course and distance is beginning to work out quite well and he should be all the better for that initial experience. Andrew Nick has run a couple of fair races but has to prove that he can reproduce his form on testing ground whilst the market should help to sort out some interesting newcomers. Glenda Hoddle and Weather Permitting are two of the more obvious candidates as both come from powerful yards; breeding suggests that both will handle the ground. Dance Island should also handle a bit of cut and may be able to go well at a price whilst support for Sheriff Hutton would be well worth noting. The percentage call though, is to side with Blistering.
