Verdict
This is a competitive finale but Blakeney Point is 3lb lower than his last winning mark. Nickelsonthedime won here in May and again at Newton Abbot in July. He was a close third at Worcester earlier this month and Pinnacle Peak won over 2m4f at the same track a little earlier, as did Sea The Clouds. EDISON KENT runs over this trip for the first time but split in-form rivals over 2m7f at Worcester last week and looks ready to pick up the winning thread again. Chives and Good News lack a recent run.
