Verdict

Baytown Lulu gets the vote in the opener with Slack Willy Hilly and Wizby put forward as the main dangers. The selection won well last time out when defeating Dancing Edge at Beverley. She had the worst of the draw that day and still won, so she was good value for her win and with ground conditions to suit and a fair draw here she looks the one to beat. Slack Willy Hilly was a fair fourth behind Twentyfirst Dansar at Bath last time on his first run on the turf, but this colt looks to have plenty on to win this from stall 10 and for that reason we will take him on. Wizby won well over today's course and distance on her racecourse debut when beating Garlogs. However, that was a really moderate contest and she has since come out and disappointed so she is difficult to back with any confidence, although the booking of Jamie Spencer is a positive one. Enchanting Times made a pleasing debut at Thirsk when a decent third behind One Trick Pony, and as she is sure to improve for that run she could go well. However, for the winner we return to Baytown Lulu.
