Phantom Whisper is tumbling down the weights but it is hard to think that this track will be ideal from a high draw so we will take a punt on the well-drawn SUMMER DANCER who should get more luck in running today as they tend to fan out across the course. Paul Midgley's gelding is in the form of his life at the moment and as a result he is edging up the weights. He looked unlucky last time at Epsom as he had to wait for a gap before launching a late challenge but he handles a quick track well and should run a big race. Bold Cross is very consistent but will need to be on his mettle as he drops back to this trip again, Desert Dreamer's run behind My Gacho reads well, whilst Broad Cairn may find this easier than recent engagements at Sandown but he may get outpaced at a key stage. Clientele is hard to weigh up; this son of Mr Greeley won well on his second start and the form of his debut looks strong. However on his next run at Windsor he went out like a light and he could struggle here again unless the market says otherwise. Valatrix is slow to come down the weights, Tuxedo looks a bit too high in the weights, whilst Sweet Gale and Burma Rock have both been holding their form well of late. Shaded Edge's only poor run of late came in a lady riders' contest at Ascot and he is better judged on his two-length fifth to Oceana Blue at Newmarket in May. A tricky end to the card but preference is for Summer Dancer.
