Verdict
Primondo is given the nod ahead of The Grey Man and Bukit Fraser. Well backed prior to his most recent outing at Thirsk, Primondo was slightly disappointing on the day but this does not look to be a strong affair and off a mark of 60 and with the visor applied, there is enough there for us to believe that he can be up to scratch at this level. The Grey Man almost stole a race at Thirsk with a front-running effort. Supporters can expect to see him dictate terms. Bukit Fraser has form over 14 furlongs but has yet to convince since returning from long term injury. Jayer Gilles is a dour stayer who regularly appears in events of this nature while Turner ran much better than his finishing position at Chester suggests and would be interesting in the event of any market move. Primondo is hardly a confident selection but he has less negatives than most.
