        Verdict

        First Among Equals looks on a very fair mark and gets the verdict ahead of Azygous and Angus News. The selection did well to win at Haydock last time having received a nasty bump when leaving the stalls. She kept on well to beat Phinerine in game fashion and can follow up off today's low mark. Azygous is the class act in the race. He wasn't beaten far in the Weatherbys Super Sprint at Newbury before finishing placed in two competitive nurseries, he will be a tough nut to crack. Angus News holds his form well and put in another solid display when finishing third behind Dhekraa at Haydock last time, he should be capable of reaching the frame. Supreme Kiss may prove best of the others, but First Among Equals cannot be ignored off this weight and gets the verdict.
