Verdict

Benzel has been in good form this summer, winning at Uttoxeter and Southwell. But rain is forecast here and any give in the ground would suit READY TOKEN, who was very impressive over track and trip in May. He does reappear a off a 12lb higher mark but the booking of Richard Johnson won't harm his chances. Velator wouldn't want any rain and usually finds at least one too good while Follow The Swallow is best watched following his antics at Hexham. No Buts has had his problems and hasn't raced since December.
