Verdict

Souricreau gets the confident vote here with Fortunate Isle and Collateral Damage rating the main dangers. The selection won well last time out when beating Quizzene and under similar conditions here he need only run up to that mark to win this with plenty in hand, Fortunate Isle rates the main danger on his latest second behind Starth Gallant but he often finds less than expected off the bridle and is taken on with this in mind. Collateral Damage ran well on his debut but did not progress as expected last time out, he will be handicapped after this run and that is where his future may lie. The remainder have shown very little and are readily opposed and for the winner we return to Souricreau who will be hard to beat.
