    Verdict

IRISH ROE (NAP) and Lady Buttons are clear of the remainder on official ratings. Philip Kirby’s mare turned to fences after finishing second in this last year and may have to settle for playing a minor role again behind Peter Atkinson’s seven-year-old, who won four times last season and was also second in a Grade 2 at Doncaster. Whatzdjazz has her ground but this looks on the short side for the Skelton mare, though she did finish ahead of Oscar Rose in a Listed handicap at Cheltenham in April and is 2lb better off. Cubswin and Mystic Sky are race-fit but look to have plenty to find on level weights.
