STRAIT RUN has still to win over hurdles but is getting closer and was only denied in the closing stages by Azure Glamour at Sedgefield when Hey Bob was behind. Micky Hammond's charge can go one better in this moderate contest. Sirpertan is another maiden and looks to have enough weight though a second place at Thirsk last month will ensure his fitness. Aza Run had only been running moderately before a slightly better effort at Southwell and though Hang Fire looks the type to do better now tackling quicker ground he has little to recommend him, nor has Captain Mowbray though he's another who could improve this season.
