Verdict
A tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading fancies but the main protagonists look to be Kimbambo, Noshinannikin, Rob Leach and Cloudy Grey and the vote is given to Rob Leach. The selection could not land a blow when well backed in the Ladbroke hurdle when unplaced behind Tamarinbleu. However this looks easier and with conditions in his favour and off what looks a fair mark he is taken to score. Kimbambo rates the main danger as he won well last time out when defeating Oracle des Mottes. However he was all out on that occasion and his penalty may just find him out so he is over looked for that reason. Cloudy Grey would be hard to beat on his form of a couple of seasons ago but he has yet to reach those heights this season and although he would have been a moderate second behind Kasthar last time he looks weighted up to the hilt. Noshinannikin always runs well here and he had every chance when falling in a race won by Sharp Belline last time. However his best form of late has been over a longer trip and for that reason he is opposed. Of the remainder Mick Easterby's pair Nowell House and Middlethorpe have place claims at best as they look high enough in thew weights and for the winner we return to Rob Leach.
