In depth

Verdict

Lilikoi continues to post a consistent sequence and is deserving of his place at the head of the weights and the claim of Mark Winn further strengthens his chance. He's only one of two winners in the line-up over this specialist trip and is shortlisted. Newmarket raiders Sail On Silverbird and Harriet's Angel are of interest as both make their handicap bows, although this is the first time either has been seen on turf. Sophia's Starlight should be suited by reverting to this seven-furlong trip and Rocking Rosa is not ruled out off bottomweight. However, the choice is JAZZ SAMBA as she looked to score with something in hand on her penultimate start at Beverley. She didn't really get into things on her return to the Westwood last time and is better judged on that previous success.
