Verdict

Low grade fayre starts the Wetherby card and it would come as no surprise to see Orang Outan set the standard in this company, while the veteran Executive Decision still has enthusiasm for the game and, as he is sure to handle the ground, he rates a bigger threat than Pyleigh Lady, who represents a top yard but has yet to prove her effectiveness on going this testing. The last named is lightly raced, though and has a touch more scope for improvement than most. Executive Decision has been a grand servant to his connections and should appreciate this ease in grade. He reverts to hurdles on a feasible mark and he can go well at fair odds. Kildee Lass and Kingsbury are other to monitor in the betting. Both have been in good heart and have little to find to get competitive at this level. However, preference goes to Orang Outan, whose confidence will be on a high after his win over fences at Southwell last month and, as he has gone well over course and distance in the past, he looks to have been found a good opening to continue his winning ways.
