In depth

Verdict

The shortlisted three are Milk And Sultana, Freda's Choice and Spurron, with the selection being Milk And Sultana. The best of Milk And Sultana's recent efforts make her one to be interested in, particularly as she has dropped to a rating of just 50 now. If on a going day, she would hold very solid claims. Freda's Choice is on a roll but she needs to pull out a little more now in order to score; however, she still holds claims. The Pen can be fancied if repeating his best Turf efforts but two all-weather runs have not been great. Spurron could be one to note coming over from Ireland as he showed enough on his British all-weather debut here last time to be given some thought today. Finally, Jiminor Mack will appreciate the step up in trip after staying on over shorter here last time and you could build a case for two or three of the others so watch the betting, but we will give another chance to Milk And Sultana.
