Verdict
SHOULDAVBOUGHTGOLD has looked an improved chaser this season and returned an easy winner at Cartmel during the week. He can defy a penalty with further progress on the cards. What a Good Night looked a certain winner when clear of the field at Southwell. But he fell a couple of fences from home and is now 24lb higher than last month's win at Uttoxeter. Noble Legend, Oscar Fortune and Key To The West all have recent pipe-openers under their belts with the latter making most appeal off his current mark.
