In depth
Formwatch
Bicycle Thief (IRE) came back to form last time in the mud at Lingfield under a confident ride from Brian Crowley. This looks his ideal trip and seems to enjoy any type of surface. He will take all the beating but his price could be a little skinny. City Hall was seen as a possible Champion Hurdle candidate a couple of years ago and may still retain some of that ability but is not one to trust. Steve Kettlewell's stable star Old Hush Wings ran some good races in claimers before disappointing when stepped up in class on his last two runs. The main danger to the favourite could come from Nigel's Lad who won two chases early this season before being popped over hurdles last time at Aintree. That was a hot handicap and this will be a lot easier today.
