    Verdict

A small but competitive field go to post for this handicap hurdle and a chance is taken on Edmo Heights to defy the handicapper. The gelding from the Tim Easterby yard has won his last three races in good style and even though he is rising in the weights he is still well weighted on his best juvenile form. Maceo is a course and distance winner who will appreciate the ground. He is from the Mary Reveley yard which has been quiet of late. However she had a winner and a second at Market Rasen on Saturday and her string may be returning to form. Altay was a good second behind an in form rival at Catterick last time and it would be no surprise if he were in the thick of the action off what still looks a fair mark. Out Of The Shadows is another from the Reveley yard that would have a chance on his best form but his best efforts of late have been on much softer ground, and jockey bookings suggest he is the second string. Barton Dante would also have a chance on her best form but she has a 359 day absence to overcome. Of the remainder Property Zone won well at Docaster last time when defeating Beyond Borders and he is another who could go well off his light weight.
